I can’t quite believe my baby girl is one. I keep thinking about what was happening this time last year, it’s mad!
Although rain was forecast, we had a lovely day celebrating with friends and family.
I went for a pink and yellow floral theme as they’re some of my favourite colours at the moment and perfect for a little girl. I enjoyed putting together the party decor so much – as you can probably tell, I spent a lot of time on Pinterest!
I made the cake – a gluten and dairy free lemon drizzle cake with lemon curd and dairy free cream filling. I’m not really a baker (as anyone who watches my instagram stories will know!) so I was so proud with how it turned out.
My amazing wedding florist, Kathy, made this fabulous floral “S” & it has to be my favourite decoration ever. Perfect for my baby girl. Kathy is so so talented, all I told her was pink and yellow and what she came up with was better than I could have imagined. I wish we could keep it forever.
Finally I finished it off with the album of Saskia’s 6 week photo shoot and a timeline of my fave photos of her. We already have so many lovely memories with her, I can’t wait to have so many more!
Happy birthday, Saskia Evangeline. I love you more than words can say.
Love, Mummy xox
