Maternity must haves for summer – second trimester fashion on a budget

Hi everyone,

I thought I’d quickly pop on whilst I have a few moments to share the items of clothing I have literally been living in over the past couple of months. The order of the day is comfy, casual and easy to wear…

The casual jumpsuit

This was a bargain at only £12.99 and I’ve probably worn it at least once a week. So easy to throw on when you’re running around after a toddler or doing jobs.

Khaki jumpsuit – New Look (now £6 in the sale and comes in other colours! *into basket*)

Comfy dungarees

A pregnant lady essential. I love the jersey material of these and how light they are. Seems to be a common theme but SO EASY TO WEAR!

Jersey dungarees – Boohoo – £16.20

Basic short leggings

If any of you follow me on instagram, you’ll know that it’s no secret I wear these almost every single day. An absolute staple.

Basic short leggings – ASOS – £6

Lace hem short leggings – ASOS – £7 (on sale and selling out fast)

Slogan tee

What do you wear over the shorts? Under the dungarees? With jeans? Always a slogan tee & I have to say this one is my fave.

Le Bump tee – Boohoo – £9

Maxi dress

Perfect for beach days, farm days, shopping days, lazy days… the only days it may not be suitable for are soft-play days (trust me, I’ve tried) but definitely more suitable than a mini/smock dress!

T-shirt maxi dress – ASOS – £22

Midi/maxi skirt

& personally, I love the look of a button down one! This one isn’t strictly maternity so I sized up (and I’m super sad it’s going to be too big once bubba is here because I love it SO much!) I feel a lot more confident in tighter clothes than I do in loose. If you’ve got it (a bump) flaunt it, Ladies!

Button down skirt – ASOS – £12.50

Basic vests

Last but not least, my go to for layering and days where I just cannot be effed. I love the loose fit and neckline of this three pack of vests plus bargain value which is a winner!

Basic vest 3 pack – ASOS – £12

So there ya go. No prizes for guessing where I do most of my maternity shopping.. it’s just so convenient! I hope it was helpful. I’m planning on doing a few more little look books, sharing my favourite maternity pieces of the moment, before baby boy makes his appearance so keep your eyes peeled! & make sure you’re following me on Instagram (@annagladers_) as I love sharing my #bumpstyle over there too!

Love, Anna x
