Putting together a beautiful space for my babies to grow up in and enjoy has been one of my favourite parts of this pregnancy. I’ll probably never stop faffing with the finishing touches but I thought it’s about time I show you around!
First stop was the walls! (and getting rid of the sickly pink colour Seb and I had covered the room in.. I do kind of miss it now though!) Half and half walls seem to be so popular at the moment and you can totally see why – adding a splash of colour without overpowering the room and keeping it looking light and bright.
We’ve used Farrow&Ball Cromarty paint on the bottom half and I LOVE it. Good choice there, Saskia! (I let her pick)
Toddler bed – John Lewis
Cot bed – Mamas and Papas (part of a three piece set)
Clothing rack – Wayfair
Bunny and Fox prints – Desenio
Picture frames – Ikea *not sure if these are the exact ones*
Bedding – Newbie *now only available in single*
Toy chest – My 1st Years
Blind – Laura Ashley
Sleepyhead deluxe – John Lewis
It’s no secret that we’re book obsessed in this household (well, maybe not Seb!) so storage for Saskia’s many, many books was always going to be a main feature of the room. I just wish we had the space for a nice, comfy armchair!
*I’ve already faffed around with the chair and moved the sheepskin/changed the cushions*
Bookshelves – Ikea
Wicker chair – Dunelm
Flower girl robe – Holly Rose Prints
